Top managers of selected Beijing tour producers for the Philippines were invited by the Philippine Department of Tourism (DOT) the Philippine Airlines and Mandarin Oriental Manila for a familiarization trip to explore Laoag and Vigan in the northern part of the Philippines.
A new Philippine destination for the Beijing market, the Laoag/Vigan tour package features a combination of UNESCO World Heritage and historical sites with adventure and beach activities. Laoag is the gateway to the northern cities and provinces, while Vigan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the only surviving Philippine town with a Spanish-Mexican ambience.
